Debriefing
We have confirmed reports that a rogue group of terrorists attacked the Imperial Presence on Kashyyyk which is largely responsible for acquiring most of the slave labor for the construction of the Emperor’s new battle station. I’m verifying the reports but will include initial findings, despite their absurdity, in my report below.

We have confirmed that Threat Group Alpha and Gamma have been coordinating with one another this entire time and are much more of a liability than initially predicted. If these reports are accurate, a team of three individuals managed to shoot down and infiltrate an Imperial Star Destroyer, then with the use of a thousand or so battle droids was able to shoot down the second Star Destroyer in orbit, then the team of three bombarded the planet and destroyed all of the ground troops and sent the 507th in to clean up the rest. How three people were able to accomplish this and convert one of the most loyal regiments in the Empire is nothing short of a mystery. The only logical conclusion I can come to is that there’s something more to this “Force” religion Lord Vader keeps mentioning. He claims it can do the impossible, and what we witnessed on Kashyyyk certainly fits that description.

All planetary and interplanetary troops were lost in the engagement. We have some reports that the 507th managed to fight the intruders to a stand-still but were somehow subdued or apprehended. Lord Vader and the Emperor have now taken personal interest in the activities of these individuals, which in my experience means they’re living on borrowed time. Lord Vader was particularly angry in our briefing when he mentioned that one of the terrorists was flying his modified fighter from the Clone Wars.

The Kashyyyk rebels were already dispersed by the time our clean up crews arrived, and undoubtedly they’ve taken to freeing the rest of their species in skirmishes the planet over which Imperial forces are ill-equipped to meet. Initially Lord Vader lead the 501st to seize the planet, though with the new threat emerging it’s unclear whether or not he will devote resources to retaking the planet.

Vader is personally assuming control of this operation and keeping me aboard as the chief analyst since I have the most field research on both threat groups. We’ve lumped them into a single group, threat group Alpha, and it’s just a matter of time until we see how many lives Vader will be willing to sacrifice to bring these three terrorists to justice.

Debriefing
The Emperor has assigned me to one of his personal Hands who he has assigned to the elimination of Threat Group Gamma. Trained in the mysterious powers of the Emperor, this elite trooper is unstable at best and homicidal at worst.

All the same, he seems to have an uncanny ability to track down and dispose of threats. Once more, though his file is classified I have encountered a few other events that suggest he is responsible for quite a few high profile assignments, such as the purging of Imperial Station 45A-3 and the Kashyyyk massacre.

All the same, he received intel that Gamma would be on the planet Volik so I dispatched a team of 12 elite Swamptroopers to ambush and take down the targets. At this time I have not heard back from the strike team so I can only presume they failed. The Emperor’s obsession with destroying these individuals is costing us dearly though I admit I’m surprised they have survived as many encounters thus far.

Despite this temporary setbacks, like the ones before it, I will continue my vigil and the Hand has assured me that I will have more resources with which to eliminate Threat Group Gamma. The Hand primarily works alone and plots in secret to destroy our mutual enemy and only seems to involve me when he needs something. While I’m not thrilled with this arrangement, it’s better than meeting death at Vader’s hands for my previous shortcomings. I fear it’s only a matter of time before he takes notice of Gamma’s continued survival.

While I had suspicions that the Hand had gone with the Strike team to Volik, confirmed reports indicate my information was mistaken and he is still at large somewhere in the galaxy. Presumably I’ll hear from him when he needs to requisition materials for his next assignment.

Debriefing

The 505th Platoon was stationed on Geonosians shortly after the end of the Clone Wars. The outpost lies far beyond the republic but was considered a critical occupation point to prevent another separatist uprising given the massive factory the Geonosians had constructed. Lord Vader insisted the facility remain operational in the even the Empire ever had need of a droid army, so for the time being the station was repurposed into a mining facility to collect raw materials in the even the factory was once more called for. My inquiries with Imperial Intelligence is that Lord Vader did issue such an order, and a committee was appointed to begin preparations for the construction of a new droid series. I am now convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that somehow an informant is getting information from Imperial sources, in that the liberation of Geonosis came a mere week before the final construction plans were going to be issued to the 505th Platoon that was stationed on the planet.

From what information I was able to piece together, which is difficult given every loyalist witness to the incident is dead, a small cargo shuttle boarded the planet under the guise of a slave ship wanting to unload some cargo. The crew of this ship infiltrated Imperial forces and managed to plant some agents on the inside which then led a massive prison revolt and freed the previously enslaved warrior caste of the Geonosian people. From there, the platoon was completely over run and all soldiers on the planet were killed.

I will continue my efforts to track, predict, and eventually overcome the vigilantes currently running amok in the galaxy. I am redoubling my efforts to ascertain their whereabouts and put a plan into action for their apprehension. The limits of Vader’s tolerance for delays is well known among the Empire and I do not wish to test them any time soon.

Kashyyk Experimental Weapons Development Facility

Report Occurrence: Kashyyk

Incursion Date: 23.9.3BBY

Current Status: Compromised

Operational Losses: One Cargo Freighter, Three Tie Fighter Escorts, One Platoon of Navy Troopers, One Platoon of 16 Elite Clone Troopers, One Prototype Shuttle

Operation Loss Assessment: Moderate

Threat Severity: Moderate

Debriefing
I have just confirmed that the experimental weapons development facility on the Kashyyk homeworld has been compromised by the rogue group I have been tracking. Since this is apparently becoming an ongoing investigation, I have designated the group Threat Group Theta, or TGT for short.

The Empire has seized possession of the Wookie homeworld and has been conducting weapons manufacturing on the planet ever since. Among these operations was a test facility that was tasked with producing a new experimental shuttle hybrid which used state of the art technology and was going to serve as an elite transport ship at Lord Vader’s personal request. TGT infiltrated the facility by stealing a supply transport after destroying the TIE Escort accompanying it. Records indicate they were able to do so by an advanced method of infiltration that I’ve never seen before. If the reports are accurate, they modified a missile to carry a modified buzz droid which pieced the ship hull and injected the droid into the ships internal systems wherein it proceeded to seize control of the ship while TGT engaged the fighters. Production on prototypes for Imperial use will begin immediately following this model.

While the prototype ship was taken, the on-site crew was quick enough to delete all data from both the facility systems and the prototype ship itself. Had that information fallen into the rebels hands, they would have gained a significant tactical advantage. I cannot help but wonder if the true target of this operation was not the experimental fighter but the data contained in its systems.

Final reports should arrive shortly, I will issue a second report about the final details once I receive them.

Operation Loss Assessment: Moderate (3,000xp and 3,000c credits per PC)

Debriefing
We have confirmed reports that the rogue group with the force sensitive members were on Esseles and somehow intercepted an Imperial Intelligence Agent known as Zane. Zane is one of the few informants that work for the Empire and is allowed to operate as a third party consultant.

Planetary reports of the incident outline an elaborate chase between the two parties which resulted in a significant amount of collateral damage. Since the Esseles system is, temporarily, outside of the Empire the loses are negligible for this report.

There were two teams of Imperial troopers sent to stop the group this time, one of which was deployed to their ship to disable it while the other secured the control tower holding the ship on land lock with the assistance of an Emperor’s Hand. Little is known about this select group of assassins and spies but their reputation except that they are known for specializing in the ridiculous and accomplishing the impossible.

While the Emperor’s Hand survived the encounter (the platoons did not… one platoon was killed aboard the renegade vessel while the other was taken out at the tower with the remnants of the platoon were killed when their ship exploded via a charge that was originally planted on the renegade vessel) he was defeated. He did report, however, that he managed to slay one of the Jedi before he was knocked unconscious and returned with her weapon, a Jedi Lightsaber, as proof. Despite the Emperor’s disappointment, I consider this mission a success in that one of the traitors was eliminated.

Reluctantly, the remaining members of this rebellious group are still at large and we can undoubtedly expect retaliation in response to the slaying of their accomplice. Despite their ever-increasing boldness, my investigation has turned toward internal channels. Though I have the Emperor’s assurance, I do not believe the rogue Jedi to be as great a threat as whoever is supplying their information. I cannot shake the feeling that we have a traitor in our midst and I am determined to devote considerable time and effort to uncovering the identity of those responsible for leaking Imperial information.

Tie Fighter Production Factory Delta 7 Incident

Report Occurrence: Outer Rim Incursion

Incursion Date: 11.8.3BBY

Debriefing
Tie Production Facility Delta 7 is a station located near the outer rim that produces Tie Fighter squadrons for Imperial Star Destroyer capital ships. Early intelligence reports indicate that as of last night the station was compromised. We have resources accessing the damage, but what information we have available indicates that the station was overrun by the rag tag Jedi team that I mentioned in my previous report, Operation Snap Trap.

The group apparently infiltrated the moon-side station and purposefully set of an alarm which prompted the station to send down a rapid response team and a full platoon in accordance with Imperial security protocols. Somehow the Jedi managed to destroy both teams then take one of our own shuttles back to the station. Due to a lack of discipline on the station’s end, the shuttle was then able to land and completely bypass the facility’s defenses since an Imperial Code was not required on their admittance.

After boarding the station, our recovery team indicates that the group somehow sliced into the station’s core network and gained access to the worker droids on the station. Why the droids were linked to the station’s core systems is beyond my comprehension, as the security risk this poses should be obvious even to a private. Later reports indicate the commanding officer, the now slain Captain Douglass Alstends, cut some of his staff and was keeping the allotted budget for their wages as excess profit. The only good news in this disaster is that since he’s already dead, there’s no need to file formal charges.

The station will take quite a few resources to replace and Lord Vader will undoubtedly hear of this incident. I expect a commission to be appointed soon to actively hunt down the renegade Jedi. It’s clear to me that the acts of these Jedi are not random, and they have a source that is both well informed and well read in both Imperial Tactics and the art of guerrilla warfare. A lucky systems sweep of station debris indicated that the core hard drive from the planetary substation was taken. There was extremely valuable information on both that system and the production facility system which the Jedi undoubtedly now have access to. I fear more than the immediate threat that something hidden lurks just beyond Imperial fingertips, something organized and something that poses a great threat to us. Whatever the case may be, it is clear that finding and destroying these Jedi will undoubtedly become a top priority in the very near future.

Debriefing
We have been attempting to recover the lost station of Starcrest Point and rehabilitate it as an Imperial launch point for deep space operations in the Unknown Regions. We were completely unaware that there were two surviving Jedi in stasis and present on the station. Scanners undoubtedly did not detect the life form emissions due to both the blast shields over the tank and the low life signatures the Jedi emitted while in stasis. Further, the power drain was not accounted for as anything other than standard ship operations and the control panels for both tanks operated completely independent the station’s main operating system. We do not know who put them there or why at this time but an investigation is being launched.

A haphazard band of smugglers came aboard the station no doubt for an illegal salvage operation, unaware of Imperial presence. As luck would have it, a platoon of troopers en route to another operation was scheduled to stop at the station for supplies and brief training exercises. The smugglers themselves would’ve posed little threat to the platoon but the Jedi they woke from cryostasis proved to be more than a match for the 20 troopers on board the shuttle. Sixteen troopers were killed, two were locked onto their shuttle when one of the smugglers hacked the shuttle’s operating system, and two were subdued and hog tied. While they claim to have been taken down by the Jedi, evidence suggests their surrender given there the status of the rest of the platoon.

We identified the cargo shuttle they were traveling on, a run down Ghtroc 720 Freighter that was registered to one of the dead smugglers. We have also released their transponder IFF code to the holonet and all Imperial sources are on alert. Finding the stray Jedi is now a high priority task and all appropriate commanders have been notified. Study suggests that the Jedi will resort to criminal activity since the collapse of the Order and we expect them to change ships shortly. Once the ship is sold and the IFF Transponder hits an Imperial Sensor, we should be able to determine the source and last known whereabouts then begin our search from there assuming they don’t make a mistake prior to.

Due to the miniature cameras in the trooper helmets, we have identified all three suspects though two of them date back over 50 years ago according to the seized Jedi archives. Their Jedi Master was confirmed dead during the execution of Order 66. Imperial Intelligence suggests after changing ships their next likely course of action is to either find the Rebellion or attempt to contact General Rahm Kota, the last known surviving Jedi in the galaxy.
